Eyeliner question- should i get a pencil or liquid? and what color?

i have pale to medium skin, brown eyes, and brown hair. im 14 and i dont want it to look very ';dramatic';, its just for school and stuff. what type, brands, and colors do you suggest?Eyeliner question- should i get a pencil or liquid? and what color?
pencil. DEFINITLEY! liquid eyeliner gave this girl's mom in my school cancer and she died from it!Eyeliner question- should i get a pencil or liquid? and what color?
I use pencil on the bottom and liquid on the top. Liquid can be harder to control and takes some getting used to though
eyeliner apply the eyeliner inside beside the eyelashes top and bottom, soft pastel colours:purple, pinks, blue, green or a double ended eyeliner in black/white.dior,naturals.
I like Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel eyeliner.

It's a little more dramatic than pencil but not as harsh as liquid.

It comes in a little pot but lasts a really long time and has staying power on the eyes.

As for lining the bottom, I would not do it and if you did, use shadow to line it and smudge it so it looks soft, not thin and harsh.
I think black pencil would look good. I constantly change because I love both, but for school pencil's the best choice. Mine's Clinique's Black Diamond, it's a little shiny.

You have to apply it on top, but be careful it's hard to apply when you're beginning. And then line the bottom, inside the eyes. It's a little hard to explain, ask your mother or a woman with experience with that kind of thing to show you.
if you have a steady hand then grab a liquid eyeliner but you need time.if not then use a kohl pencil in black and just line the top lashline stopping at the end of your lashes.smudge it a little with a cotton bud or some pencils have a smudger and apply mascara.it will give you that doe eyed sixites sienna miller, twiggy look.dark purple also looks great on brown eyes.rimmel, bobbi brown, jemma kidd, and loreal all do good ones
liquid definitely, black and cover girl is the best. to apply start at bottom, start at beginning of lash line and go to end of lash line. same on top, don't go to thick on top though!
If I were you, I'd use a dark brown eyeliner pencil.
Since you're so young, use pencil, then blend it. Buy the kind that has a tiny sponge on the other end that helps you blend it (L'Oreal and Maybeline have good ones that are not too expensive).

Liquid stays longer and is not bad in general, but it will be too harsh for school.
get a brown pencil and only line top
I use black liquid eyeliner from the brand NYC. but a lot of people have trouble drawing thin lines with liquid eyeliner and go for pencil. Since you have brown eyes, light purple eyeliner would look good, but since its just for school go with black.
Liquid is better for dramatic things, so try using a pencil in a medium to dark brown color.
Well I would recommend only using pencil eyeliner because you are young. And you also said you don't want a dramatic look. Just little pencil will be okay to make your eyes beautiful. You can either chose dark brown or black.

Almay color trio which comes with an eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow just for any color eye. its made to bring out the color in your eyes (helped alot with my green eyes)
im the exact same as you exept off a year i use black pencil eyeliner , liquid is very messy and gets in ur eyes easily, brown eye liner could work for you to. mayboline or covergirl is best! hope this helps%26lt;3
You should try both if you havent done a specific one and then you can tell wether or not it works for you and about the color black is the most suttle one but if you want a more jumppy color go for a darker shade of blue or purlple .
i use a MAC pencil eyeliner. only get the liquid if you have a steady hand because it's hard to apply. and dont get a really dark color. stick to the lighter ones if you have brown eyes.
No liquid then. That's quite a dramatic look, and is harsh, but is very intense and beautiful.

Try getting a pencil, I suggest Bonne Bell, Maybelline, NYC or Physicians Formula (they tend to smudge a bit though, because it's not a waterproof liquid liner)

Get a dark emerald green line to really pop against your brown eyes and hair, or go natural with a dark brown. Or you can try a really deep dark purple, that's gorgeous.

Also, just line your upper eyelid by your lash, rather than your entire eye because that's a harsh look and hard to maintain during the day at school. It's more natural just to line your top eyelid by the lashes, instead of the entire eye (which closes it up and makes it look smaller)

If you wear mascara, do it.. :)
