nope, it will defiantly not work, you will have to dye it back to brown or let it grow outWill dish liquid strip color from your hair?
Look, you can't ';dye'; hair blonde. Dye, be definition, is for fabrics, and is used to add colour.. to make things darker. You can never make anything lighter by making it darker and darker!!

What you used was a tint. All tints contain bleach, and you lightened your hair a level or two. It will turn orange, of course... everyone knows that. Did you miss that class on colouring?? Since you have brown hair, there is lots of red/gold in it. When you remove the brown, the darkness, you are left with the orange... and there you are.

If you wanted to make your hair lighter, you may have had to use a two-step process. You would bleach your hair lighter than you did with this tint. You need to get lighter than the red/gold stage to prevent any orange tinge. Then you will apply a colour in the shade you wanted. Anyone with lighter hair, or who does not have the gold in their hair might be able to do it without the bleach.

It is always best that you have a consultation with a professional hair colourist who can analyze your hair and know what formula to use. Because it would have been seen that you have a lot of red in your hair, they can take measures so that it doesn't show up so much. It's nearly impossible to do with a box colour, since you can't add the colours you need.

What to do now? You can correct it and get it to the light shade you wanted, or you can cover it up with a darker colour. Either one is about the same damage to hair. It all depends on what you want. You still should consult with a colourist to see what colour would work with your skin tone. And how to get it.
bs to the person that said that

Dish soap does all you have to do is wash it with dish soap thats not sensitive and it will slowly after like 2 weeks take the color out but it wont do it all at once
