my baby parrot is having a runny stomach with a very dark liquid poop (brownish color), what shall I do - URGENT please ?My baby parrot is having a runny stomach with a very dark liquid poop (brownish color), what shall I do - URGE
First, is it always runny or just first thing in the morning? Birds hold their urine and stool over the night and their first elimination in the morning is runny. Your birds change in stool can be one of the first indicators of illness. Have you changed your bird's food recently? Changes in diet can cause a temporary change in a bird's stool and a lower intestinal irritation.

If the bird's urine and stool doesn't change to normal within a few hours, I would call a certified avian vet and have the bird seen. Please, don't take your bird to a vet who hasn't been trained in treating exotic birds -- they are sometimes more harmful to the bird than what ails them!

Below is a link to help you find a certified avian vet.

take it to the vet or even a petshop. they will help you out with the corrcet medication
