You can see the color isn't right on the surface of a cat's eye- what is that layer and is it solid or liquid?

If you look at a cat's eye from the side, you can see the pupil and iris aren't right on the surface of the eye, but are covered by a rounded layer. Is that layer solid or liquid, and evolutionarily, what is it for?You can see the color isn't right on the surface of a cat's eye- what is that layer and is it solid or liquid?
';This small chamber is called the anterior chamber. This chamber is filled with a clear fluid called aqueous humor. This fluid is produced by the ciliary body and nourishes the eye while helping to maintain its shape. This fluid is continually produced and drained from the eye.';

I hope this answers your questionYou can see the color isn't right on the surface of a cat's eye- what is that layer and is it solid or liquid?
Is your cats eye(s) look like a milky white color? This could indicate that your cat is either blind in that eye or going blind. No matter what it is, I strongly suggest you take it to the vet and have it checked. Cats, like people are hard to diagnos sometimes.

Best of luck to you and your cat. May the two of you have a lifelong friendship together!
