Take up his food and water until the morning when you can call your regular vet. He might have eaten a string or something else that's either binding or blocking his intestines. Taking away the food will ease any pressure til the morning.


If this is what happened, it might either pass on its own, or he will need very expensive surgery. Hopefully it's the first one if this is the problem.


Hopefully this isn't the problem at all, it's just one of the possibilities. It might just be a simple infection that can be treated with medication for a few days.

Take him to the VET immediately!
Ring the surgery and ask the receptionist if it would be advisable to wait until tomorrow and list all the symptoms, or even ask to speak to the vet on the phone. They should be able to give you a definite answer and it's always better to be safe than sorry - I can only speculate not knowing your cat's prior history.
ER Clinic ! Better safe than sorry. If it's coming from both ends it doesn't sound good.

Your cat is sick and is probably dehydrated. Can you get him to drink some fluids before he sees the vet?
