What kind of paint can i use to color liquid paper?

it is for a school project


i tried to use food colorant but it didn't work :S


what kind of paint will color it without drying it until it is applied on the paper???What kind of paint can i use to color liquid paper?
You can mix dry poster or tempera paint in with your paper slurry, if it's for something temporary.
